How it works
- Answer the free questions. The same plain interview our customers use — your facts about the person who died, the people who inherit, and what the estate holds. Free, no account needed. It also tells you honestly if your situation is one we don't handle and belongs with a lawyer.
- Choose the check at the payment step. At the end of the interview, pick "run only the Package Check" — $79 + HST ($89.27 for an Ontario buyer). It never charges you for a package.
- Read your report. Up to 17 automated checks run on your facts: the tax math and its round-up rule, the notice timing, the name rule, the right courthouse, and more. Anything that looks wrong is listed with the exact thing to fix — and you can re-run it free for 12 months, as often as you like.
What it checks — and what it can't
The check works on the facts you type, not on your paper forms. So it can tell you your tax should be $540 — and then you check that your form says $540. It can tell you the name rule — and then you check every page against the will. The report shows you exactly what to compare, line by line.
It is software, not a person. It applies Ontario's published rules — it never reads your documents, never judges your situation, and never files anything for you.
