About ProbatePrep

Every year, thousands of Ontarians handle a loved one's estate for the first time. Most estates are straightforward. The paperwork is not.

The court forms are long. The tax has a rounding rule. The notices have a timing rule. Get one detail wrong and the courthouse sends everything back — often months later. The usual choices have been: pay a law office $1,475 or more, buy blank forms for $19 and hope, or wrestle with it alone.

We built ProbatePrep to be the missing middle: software that asks plain questions, fills the official forms correctly, checks the details courts actually bounce applications for, and costs a flat $199 or $449 plus HST — shown on the page.

Two beliefs shape everything here:

• Most estates don't need a lawyer — and for some, a lawyer is the right help. Our questions sort one from the other honestly, and pointing you to a professional when your estate is that kind is a feature we're proud of, not a failure.
• The people using this are grieving. So: plain words, one question at a time, big readable text, save-and-come-back-anytime, and no tricks — no fake urgency, no invented reviews, no hidden fees.

ProbatePrep is built and operated in Ontario by NeuraBuild Solutions Inc. Your data lives in Canada. The forms are Ontario's own. The rules we encode are the court's published rules, checked against official sources — and re-checked monthly.

How to check we're real

You should not have to take our word for anything. Here is how to check us yourself:

• The company is real. NeuraBuild Solutions Inc. is our registered Ontario company; ProbatePrep is the name we sell under. Same company. Anyone can search the name in the Ontario Business Registry, free.
• The forms are real. We fill the court's own files. Compare our forms list with the court's own website.
• The payment page is not ours — on purpose. You pay on Stripe's secure page (the address starts with checkout.stripe.com). We never see your card number.
• What we will never ask for: your Social Insurance Number, a bank login, or any password. Ever.
• A person answers. Email support@probateprep.ca and a real person replies within one business day.

How we check our own work

We can't show you a person's face. We can show you the checking. Our software checks itself more than 1,400 ways. One big test runs 15 invented practice families through the whole interview, start to finish. Thirteen get complete court packages built, and every figure is compared. Two are designed to be turned away — and the test checks that they are. We run these checks when we change how the software works.

The website has its own machine check. Before any update goes out, it compares the numbers on the site with the software: the prices, the $150,000 line, the tax math, the courthouse count. If they do not match, the site will not publish.
